This might seem odd, but when it comes to finding time to work on my fitness and getting back into shape, I rarely worry about it now. Even after having kids of my own.

What is Ponzu exactly?

Ponzu is the online platform for social and interactive fitness & wellbeing.  Find the perfect session or class for you, work with a personalised instructor and achieve amazing results. You can even do it with friends, to make it more fun!  It is not an on-demand pre-recorded service.

Where should I start?

We recommend starting small with just 1 or 2 classes a week, then gradually building up to 3-4 with a goal of doing something physical everyday.  You will find your Ponzu classes are both motivating and convenient, but it's nice to mix it up with other activities, whether that's going for a walk or run or participating in team sports.

Of course if your motivation is also about bringing some inner balance, combine with something less physically active like breathwork or meditation.  Fitness and wellbeing is a very personal thing - that's why we created the Ponzu platform to bring you some of the best and most varied classes out there to suit you, whoever you are and wherever you are on your journey.


How much weight can I lose in x weeks?

This really depends on the type of classes you take, how often, your current BMI and diet amongst other mental and physical factors. What we can recommend is that if weight loss is your primary goal, focus on high heart rate classes like cardio initially and then build out to more strength and conditioning classes like Pilates, Dynamic Yoga and Weight training.

The most important thing is to find classes and instructors that you enjoy doing as you're more likely to commit and keep up the great work - that's the real key to sustainable weight loss and weight maintenance.

How much time do I need to commit?

As little as an hour a week initially - just 2 x 30 minute classes is all you need to kick start your new you. With Ponzu classes the great thing is there's no commuting and logistics time to factor in either side. Simply throw on your gym gear, turn on your device, click the Zoom link and you're ready to rock!

How much will it cost me?

Our lowest paid plan is £10 / month, this allows you to book any class you like, whenever you like, so long as you have the credits in your account (credit cost 50p each). However we also offer a totally FREE plan for people that want to try it out and just access our free taster class each week.

How do credits work?

£1 = 2 credits.  Credits allow you to book classes. Instructors set the number of credits needed for their classes. Typically, Private classes will require more credits than Small Group classes and Large Group classes will require fewer still.

What equipment do I need?

An internet enabled device with sound and a camera (laptop, tablet, phone), so you can hear and see your instructor and they can hear and see you. We use Zoom, so you'll want to have that installed.  You’re likely to need a workout mat too. Any other equipment will be specified, but most classes just need you, a bottle of water and a great attitude!

How do I get my friends to join?

Easy! Use your referral link in the community page to get your friends free credits as well as earn some yourself.

Which instructor is right for me?

It's a really personal thing based on what sort of classes you like and what your goals are. We've made it really easy to shop around for your preferred instructor(s) by giving taster credits and classes so you can find the perfect match.

Can I talk to an instructor before I take a class?

Absolutely, that's what we are all about! Once registered, you can access the ‘Message Instructor’ button on any of our instructor's profile pages.  Many of them offer free consultations to better understand your goals and situation, so please get in touch – they're there to support your fitness journey, it's what they love doing.
